Winter 2010 – Week 9

Blogged by on Sunday March 7th, 2010 at 5:02 pm in Anime (spoilers), English | 0 Comments »

This is not an anime blog.

I feel like this blog has been mostly about the weekly ranking recently… I’ve been quite busy lately, so I didn’t really have the time to junk or to think about things to post. And it will continue all this month I guess…

Obligatory reminder : that’s not an overall ranking, just my ‘personal’ appreciation of the latest episode of each show.

#1 ↑↑ Chu-Bra!! (9)

Heh, I never thought I would rank Chu-Bra so high someday. XD Pool and yukata, but more importantly it was awesome ‘Haruka no Yuuutsu’ episode, with Haruka-chan being troubled by her lililicious feelings for Nayu-chan. The part when they’re in the woods, the kokuhaku taimu scene… that was all Love & Piece. Also, I like how Kiyono is so thoughtful despite her attitude. She’s great.

#2 ↓↓ Hanamaru Youchien (8)

No moar Satsuki-chan, but new characters got introduced in the children’s side. Second half was particularly nice and funny, and Hinagiku-chan is so cute~. Kawashiro-sensei, my teacher of love, was also back in the show with a few lines. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

My teacher of love #2, Kakogawa-sensei.
Now that I look at it… these tsurime, this hairstyle… she reminds me of a certain someone… XD

#3 ↑↑ Dance in the Vampire Bund (8)

Wow. My favorite episode so far. All the Mina x Yuki part at the beginning was just so frikkin cute ! Shizuka Ito’s character is back in the story, as a hawt shotacon no-pan vampire seitoukaichou. XD Got also a bit of fighting action. Putting aside how that red-haired vampire woman was ugly (CV : Rie Kugimiya !?!) and that werewolves bishie squad, this episode was really great.

#4 ↑↑ Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (9)

Hawt bro-con onee-san KITA. Very funny episode, and again these annoying shoukanjuu were nowhere to be seen. See, this kind of episode is the proof that the show has interesting enough characters for not relying on these battle things. But maybe that’s just me. Only one complaint about this episode : no Hideyoshi saabisu this time.

Hideyoshi seems to be ok with porn magazines, though you can actually see a bit of blushing when looking carefully. Which reminds me : we’ve yet to know if Hideyoshi is into boys or girls. Not a single bit of romance, even as a joke, has been developed around Hideyoshi… ki ni naru ! That really asks for a Hideyoshi episode~

#5 ↓↓ So-Ra-No-Wo-To (9)

Nice Kureha-chan episode. Got a bit of comedy, of pajamas saabisu, of Noel-chan goodness, of drama and GAR. And lot of Kureha-chan cuteness. Huggable. Too bad that this week the other shows were greater, I feel bad when ranking it so lowly…

#6 ↓↓ Ladies vs Butlers! (9)

Tomomi episode. Was ok. Well, the ‘funny’ thing about it is that when an episode focuses on a certain heroine, the girl usually ends up noticing her feelings for the main guy. For a change, the heroine here noticed that she finally doesn’t love the main guy that much, lol… well, until the very last seconds of the episode, that is. XD The loli breast-fondling action was damn HAWT.

Looks like they heard me : next episode is Daichi-kun episode #2 !
GO ! GO ! DAICHI ENDING !

#7 ↓↓ Omamori Himari (9)

Saabisu overload~. So much service that it got censored pretty heavily, lol… though it’s still pretty ‘light’ service compared to Ladies vs Butlers. XD But censored anyway. New arc starts here so nothing really to say about this episode.

#8 Kimi ni Todoke (21)

So apparantly, Chizu-chan arc ends here, and the show will focus on Sawako-chan again.

This week’s A Certain Delusional Railgun Corner

Still catching up with Railgun, but I’m so behind that I can’t put it in the ranking. It would be #1 every weeks anyway. So this week again I’m gonna throw random pics and (delusional) comments in this corner.

Onna no ko to, onna no ko ni deatta.
Soshite, futari no monogatari ga hajimatta.

In their own little world~ (1)

In their own little world~ (2)

Mikoto noticed that Saten-san left, and she ran after her.
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Mikoto blaming herself because she couldn’t detect that Saten-san was really feeling bad when she talked to her under that bridge.

Saten-san wants to see Mikoto’s cute swimsuit~

Saten-san rocks my world.

I’ve still of few episodes of Hidamari Sketch x365 left to watch, and then I’ll start watching Hoshimittsu.

This week’s waifu : #1 Saten-san, #2 Kiyono, #3 Kawashiro-sensei, #4 Mina Tepes, #5 Hideyoshi

Winter 2010 – Week 8

Blogged by on Sunday February 28th, 2010 at 5:13 pm in Anime (spoilers), English | 1 Comment »

So, this is that day of the week again.

I had a hard time making this week’s ranking, because there was lot of nice moments in every shows… and mizugi everywhere !

Obligatory reminder : that’s not overall ranking, just my ‘personal’ appreciation of the lastest episode of each shows.

#1 Hanamaru Youchien (7)

Same as last week : Mizugi feast in the first half (including Satsuki-chan this time), and Satsuki special in the second half. Add light lulz and cute flashback scenes to that, and you get Love & Piece win. Ah~ Satsuki-chan… I wonder if she will appear again in the show… :/

Again, the ED was a piece of epic greatness.
At least, to me who’s into this kind of “Film Noir” mood, parisian jazz and “Hotel Dusk”-like animation.
And it’s sung by Satsuki-chan (with her onii-chan). Awesome.

#2 ↑↑ Chu-Bra!! (8)

Got everything that makes an otaku happy : Mizugi, onsen, yuri raep, ice-cream bukkake, flying fake breast… But it was also some lovely Mizuno-sensei episode. Still, it was Kiyono who caught my interest the most, I really luv her more and more. Seeing her participating so seriously in the shitagibu’s activities is cute, and her gentle smile (during the scene when she puts some make-up on Mizuno-sensei’s face) is a killer. <3

#3 ↑↑ Ladies vs Butlers! (8)

Moar mizugi ! As expected, the show is getting a bit better now that it stops adding new characters again. Very enjoyable Flameheart-san episode, though I regret that they had to use the old ‘Main guy gets accidentally drunk’ trick for deepening their relationship. Also, since Tomomi knows Daichi’s secret and invited her home, I was really hoping for some yuri raep to happen (like, Tomomi trying to forcibly dress her as a girl and… you know what happen next). But it’s the last scene that made me rank it high. It’s nice to finally see one of the shows taking a step further in the story. Next episode will be Tomomi episode, I seriously hope that Daichi will also get her change at deepening her relationship with Hino. DAICHI ENDING KIBONNU !

#4 ↓↓ So-Ra-No-Wo-To (8)

For a change, SoraWoto was rather servicey. It was mostly Kanata watching over a phone, restraining herself from going to the bathroom (offering lot of ///// faces), and eventually wearing some mahou shoujo-ish dress. Maa, doesn’t mean that this episode was bad. The characters’ quality makes up for the lack of content (especially Noel-chan <3 <3 <3), and I found the part with the priest pretty funny. Still, I can’t help but think that ‘something’ was missing (compared to the early episodes), and at the same time I’m feeling like I was a bit severe with this episode. At the end, we got again a hint that they will most likely enter war (“I want you to save this country”, lol >_> )… orz

On a side note, I wish Miyuki-san (Lucky Star) was a bit more like Filicia-san…

#5 ↑↑ Omamori Himari (8)

For making it short : I really, really loved all the second half of the episode with Kuesu. KUESU IS LOVE. I’d have surely ranked it higher if I didn’t hate the main guy so much. Also, I like how Rinko thinks that the fact that she’s ‘ordinary’ is her weapon of seduction. XD

#6 ↓↓ Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (8)

The shoukanjuus are back… But well it was still rather funny, mostly thanks to all the references throughout the episode.

I’d buy a set of these pictures…

#7 ↑↑ Dance in the Vampire Bund (7)

Cool. I found nice how they made us think that Mina was the ‘guy buy’ while it actually wasn’t the case. Led to some touching Akira x Mina moments again. That wouldn’t bother me much if the show ended here, lol.

#8 ↓↓ Kaidan Restaurant (11)

Nothing to say here, was the usual Kaidan Restaurant. Not so scary, not so moving this time.

#9 Kimi ni Todoke (20)

Chizu-chan’s arc continues…

Also, I’ve finished to watch To aru Majutsu no Index recently, which was really a nice show. And finally started to watch To aru Kagaku no Railgun, which is even better, for obvious reason :

DESU NO~

It seems pretty obvious to anybody that the pairings go ‘Mikoto x Kuroko’ and ‘Saten-san x Uiharu’. So far, I’ve only seen fanarts and doujins featuring these pairings, and indeed when watching the OP/ED and the show you can’t help seeing things that way.

But I beg to differ : Saten-san is the one for Mikoto. That’s what I thought when watching the first episode. Really, the development of this episode looked like the perfect start to a cute and deep lililicious love story.

Saten-san luvs Uiharu. Or rather, she luvs Uiharu’s pantsu. XD

But Uiharu luvs Mikoto, she keeps talking about her and how meeting her is her dream, making Saten-san a bit jealous.

So out of jealousy, Saten-san starts bad-mouthing Mikoto, saying how she must be some kind of arrogant ojou-sama.

When alone together with Mikoto, Saten-san feels uneasy because she still have that ‘arrogant ojou-sama’ image in mind.

But Mikoto shows her that she’s actually a nice girl, and Saten-san starts seeing her differently.

Mikoto goes berseck when she sees Saten-san being kicked in the face.

Saten-san is deeply impressed by Mikoto’s power.

… AND LOVE WAS BORN AT THIS VERY MOMENT !!!

Another point is how Mikoto and Saten-san are so different from each others (Mikoto is the strongest ESPer around, Saten-san is a Level 0), it always makes a pairing even better. MIKOTO x SATEN : TOGETHER FOREVER ! *added to the yuri pairings wishing list*

Episode 5 : ^ the most adorable little thing EVAR

A Kuroko x Uiharu is fine too.

As for my Top 5 Waifu of the week, it’s something like : #1 Saten-san, #2 Satsuki, #3 Kiyono, #4 Daichi-kun, #5 Kuesu.

Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu (1)

Blogged by on Monday February 22nd, 2010 at 4:45 pm in English, Manga (spoilers), Others | 0 Comments »

Today’s random scans posting action is the first volume of The Disappearance Of Yuki Nagato-chan (長門有希ちゃんの消失, The Vanishing Of Nagato Yuki-chan) by Puyo, the author of the “Haruhi-chan” serie.

Unlike the Haruhi-chan serie, this is not a gag manga. It doesn’t have all the SD crazyness (just a tiny bit) nor the sudden epic GAR action. Well, it’s still a comedy manga, since it’s actually sweet and refreshing rabukome about Disappearance Nagato.

Also, even though it’s based on the ‘Disappearance’, this is not about what would have happened if Kyon didn’t press the ‘enter’ key. The ‘Disappearance’ world is the default world here, this is just slice-of-life about a ‘normal’ litterature club and its 3 members, and about a shy girl and her one-sided love.

So, will you press the ‘enter’ key ? Y/N ? if not, then click ‘read more’~

Winter 2010 – Week 7

Blogged by on Sunday February 21st, 2010 at 5:48 pm in Anime (spoilers), English | 0 Comments »

Today’s sunday, time for the weekly ranking.

As always, this is not overall ranking. Just a ranking based on my appreciation of the latest episode of each show.

Note that this week’s Dance In The Vampire Bund is absent from the ranking because it has been released too late. Since next week’s episode (the 8th) is supposed to be a recap episode, I guess I’ll throw episode 7 in next week’s ranking…

#1 ↑↑ Hanamaru Youchien (6)

First half was full of lulz and Yamamoto-sensei saabisu~. It was great. As for the second half… TSUNDERE BRO-CON IMOUTO KITAAAAAAAAAA !!!! What else can I say ? Satsuki is love ! Horete shimatta ! And epic Y-shirt scene at the end. That was just too awesome for words. I’m in love.

The ED was just splendid.
Cool animation and song, and it gets adorable scenes from the beginning to the end. The design reminded me AniKoi a lot (see manga category ‘Ani Koi’). If Ani Koi ever gets an anime adaptation, I hope Gainax will make it and that it will looks like this ED !

#2 ↓↓ So-Ra-No-Wo-To (7)

And so, what I feared kinda happened. War, tears, and cute girls dying. Well that was just Filicia-san’s flashback scene, but still… History repeats itself like they say, it is to be expected that our cute 1121st Platoon will eventually enter war I guess. Anyway, overally it was still a very nice episode, saved by some very moving yuriish scene at the end.

#3 Chu-Bra!! (7)

This time, the episode focused mostly on the guy, but it was still full of Kiyono goodness, and more importantly (to me) Haruka being all down after that her beloved Nayu-chan received a love letter. Haruka-san, it’s about time you make your move on Nayu-chan, or else Komachi-kun will get her first ! … Maa, if it had to happen you could still take comfort in Yako-chan’s DFC though~ (personally, Kiyono x Nayu kibonnu). At the end, there was that ‘How to wear a garter belt’ section that was trying to make us think that this show is actually aimed at girls, but I hardly believe anybody fell for it.

#4 ↑↑ Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (7)

Shouko-tan episode~. Yet again an episode in which the shoukanjuu were nowhere to be seen, means a good episode. Shouko is just too cute. I was wondering why the hell Yuuji was pushing away such a cute girl, and it started to irritate me. But we somewhat learn the reason at the end, and I must say that finally, Yuuji frikkin rocks. He’s really a cool guy. And Shouko’s fabulous smile at the end speaks for it. I totally liked how Hideyoshi (with no hairpin <3 ) took part in the whole date plan thing too. XD Surprisingly enough, quite the plotter~. IT’S ABOUT TIME WE GET A HIDEYOSHI EPISODE, DON’T YOU THINK ?

w00t new ED ! The song isn’t particularly good or anything, but yay for seifuku feast !
Also, you can really tell who is the real heroine of the show… XD

#5 ↓↓ Ladies vs Butlers (7)

To be totally honest, I can’t say this episode particularly caught my interest. I mean, all the mahou shoujo stuff. Was still a decent watch, mostly the birth of a love between two lolis was heartwarming to watch. I guess the show will be a bit better from now on, since it will stop adding new characters again and again, and will focuse more on the ones already here.

#6 Omamori Himari (7)

Nothing much to say about it. Keeps becoming a bit more interesting every weeks, story-wise. Main guy still sucks as always.

#7 Kimi ni Todoke (19)

Continues with Chizu’s very predictable love story (I mean, everybody guessed the whole thing about Ryu’s onii-san, right ?). Sawako is still super cute, crying over other people’s problems. Yet again no Kurumizawa. Only good thing in this episode was that I got again a bit of screentime…

So I guess we’re now halfway in this season, no ? Time for adding a Top 10 of my waifus so far (originally it was supposed to be a Top 5, but it was just too hard to choose only 5 characters XD ) ! Well, this ranking may vary a lot every weeks, depending on one character’s appearance…

Winter 2010 Waifu Top 10

#1 ↑ Satsuki Tsuchida (Hanamaru)
#2 ↓ Ume Kurumizawa (KimiTodo)
#3 ↑ Hideyoshi Kinoshita (BakaTest)
#4 ↑ Kiyono Amahara (ChuBra)
#5 ↓ Kawashiro-sensei (Hanamaru)
#6 ↓ Kaoru Daichi (LvsB)
#7 ↓ Minami Shimada (BakaTest)
#8 ↓ Noel Kannagi (SoraWoto)
#9 ↓ Kureha Suminoya (SoraWoto)
#10 ↓ Mina Tepes (Vampire Bund)

Also, came across the Spring 2010 Anime Chart recently…

Well, no need to mention that K-on!! is the show I’m looking forward the most. But for the other shows, I don’t really know…

1st pick should be : Mayoi Neko Overun and KissxSis (obligatory service fix), and Working!.

Then as a 2nd pick, maybe B Gata H Kei, Angel Beats, Arakawa under the bridge, and Yutori-chan… It will mostly depends on how many anime I can get.

I mean, if things go well for me (or rather, if I’m motivated enough), I should be in japan at the beginning of april. I should have an internet connection over there, probably better than the one I’m using now, lol. But good enough for getting anime, that is not for sure… well, as long as I can watch K-on!!…

Winter 2010 – Week 6

Blogged by on Sunday February 14th, 2010 at 11:58 pm in Anime (spoilers), English | 3 Comments »

Is it sunday already ? Damn, time sure flies at high speed…

Anyway, it’s time for this week’s ranking. Last week’s level was pretty high, so I haven’t so much things to say about this week’s episodes. But there was still a lot of enjoyable moments.

Again, note that the ranking only takes the latest released episode into account. Also, this ranking is more about how much I enjoyed each episode than about the episode’s quality itself.

No Kaidan Restaurant this week since the subs haven’t been released for the 11th episode.

#1 So-Ra-No-Wo-To (6)

Nothing to say about it in particular, cute episode. I’m so scared that this show may eventually become drama (as I said last week), that they totally got me with the fake mafia thing. XD When they started to shot the guys, I was like “Noooooooo… orz” lol. On a side note, they were all hawt with their black suit. Especially Kureha-chan, who on top of that even shown a bit of yuri-tsundere for Rio-sempai, making me happy considering what happened in the previous episode with Klaus-san. XD Second half of the episode was all awww~ and ;_; .

#2 Hanamaru Youchien (5)

First half was really funny, and second half really cute. I just have one complain about this episode : it was totally focusing on the children, so all the hawt female teachers were absent. Maa we got a very tiny bit of Kawashiro-sensei (mai enje~ru), but Yamamoto-sensei was nowhere to be seen. :/

The cute highschooler from the OP will finally appear in the next episode, I was really looking forward to that. <3
And she’s Tsuchi’s (bro-con ?) imouto ! Can’t wait~
Mizugi action incoming too~

#3 Chu-Bra!! (6)

Haha, I said last week how much I liked Nayu’s point of view about pantsu, and how the way she talks of them is so moving (lol), making this anime deeper than how it looks. And now we get the total opposite : the slutty rival who thinks that pantsu are women’s weapon and are for seducing men. XD Maa anyway, Kiyono is hawt and win, with some very cute dere side. Her seiyuu is Mio’s (K-on!) seiyuu, so hearing her saying ‘sex’ and ‘pantsu’ is pretty amusing. XD Nice episode~

lol @ that ‘collage’ at the end after the ED… Shown this way, this scene gets a whole different meaning that I particularly like XD
Or maybe it’s some kind of hint about who’s the person Kiyono is in love with ? NAYU LILILICIOUS HAAREMU ?!?!!

#4 ↑↑ Ladies vs Butlers! (6)

Reverse trap episode KITA ! As expected, very nice and cute episode. I’m just wondering why, when she dressed into a maid at the end, they made her having such hueg (fake) breasts. Considering her size, that was just looking ugly. DFCs are not loved in this show and it saddens me a bit. XD Which reminds me, last week I said “Does she really need bandages for hiding her DFC ?”, and apparantly I’m not the one thinking that. XD The fact that Hino didn’t notice that Daichi was a girl though he saw her naked 2 times in the bathroom is lulz~. Fighto, Daichi ! I’m so rooting for her as the girl who should get the happy end with Hino. Go go Daichi Ending !

Gao~ !

#5 ↓↓ Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (6)

You know, BakaTest 6 is one of these episodes which aren’t 25 minutes long, but one hour long. ‘Cause you’re too busy taking screenshots. Seriously. This episode was intense mizugi action. In fact, it was so sparkling with moe and Hideyoshi goodness that I don’t even remember why the hell all the gang gets to use the pool during sunday. But who cares. a good episode of Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu is an episode with no Shoukanjuu and lot of lulz and saabisu.

#6 ↑↑ Omamori Himari (6)

The best episode so far in my opinion. Yuki Matsuoka’s character , Kuesu, finally appeared, and she’s hawt. Her fight with Shizuku was cool. Himari was cute as always and seeing her all happy at the end after she got kissed was heartwarming~. Happy Himari makes me happy. Maa the main guy and his freaking annoying voice continue to ruin the best parts, but that was still a very enjoyable episode.

THAT WAS SO HAWT !

#7 Dance in the Vampire Bund (6)

Interesting episode, since the cute Mina Tepes finally happens to be the ‘bad guy’ of the show, and the main guy is on his way for fighting her. I wonder how it will turn out in next episodes. Sadly enough, most of the scenes keep being ruined by the silly effects. It’s ok in Hidamari Sketch, since it’s a comedy show. But here… lol

#8 ↓↓ Kimi ni Todoke (18)

Still enjoyable to watch, but now the show is focusing on secondary characters’ love story. Maa I like Ryu a lot, but I just couldn’t care less about it. AND I WANT KURUMIZAWA BACK.

“Kurumizawaaaaaa~ !!!”
Get back up, Me !

Winter 2010 – Week 5

Blogged by on Sunday February 7th, 2010 at 9:16 pm in Anime (spoilers), English | 2 Comments »

It’s sudden, but I’ve decided to bring the ‘Anime (spoilers)‘ category back to life.

Well, firstly, it’s kind of out of boredom. Today is sunday, don’t really feel like doing anything. Secondly, it’s out of inspiration, ’cause I wanted to find something to post while breaking the junk posts combo. And finally, it’s also out of frustration, cause I’ve been able to watch a decent amount of shows recently, so I sometimes feel like saying a word or two about some of them and spreading some <3s around.

I’ve been internetless for 2 years+ now, so following anime has been quite difficult, but since latest summer season I somewhat manage to watch most of them. Well, it’s also thanks to the fact that the number of shows per season has dropped dramatically (In 2006-2007 I was watching 4-5 episodes of differents animes each night, now I’m watching 2-3 eps once every two nights, lol). So far I’ve been quite reluctant to do anime posts, mostly because of the scary amount of anime blogs around, and also because the free internet connection I’m using is damn slow so it doesn’t really encourage me to post. But still, raising the number of posts on this shitty blog was one of my resolutions for 2010, if possible with higher variety in the content… not that these posts are meant to be interesting or anything though…

Anyway. Time for some random pics and talk about the episodes released this week. Since this is the first post of the season, you will find links to ANN for the summaries, because I won’t do it myself. Also, pics aren’t necessarily from the latest episode, but you’ll be able to tell, I guess.

Note that the ranking only takes the latest episode into account. That is not a overall ranking.

#1 So-Ra-No-Wo-To (5)

ANN

The ‘all-girls yuriish iyashi-kei slice-of-life’ anime of the season. Which means, automatic first fav to me. Well at least, as long as it doesn’t turn into war anime with cute girls dying and all it will stay at first place… orz Seeing them training at the very begining of the episode scared me a bit, but thankfully the rest of the episode was the same heartwarming awesomeness as always, and this ep in particular was really great. I loved the part when they’re playing in the river very much~

It came out of nowhere, but cute twintail yuri tsundere Kureha-chan luvs deh GAR.
Screw Klaus-san, I want my Kanata x Kureha x Noel lililicious love triangle ! XD

#2 Hanamaru Youchien (4)

ANN

Though Evangelion never really piqued my interest, I usually go blindly for every Gainax work, because their original shows are great and their choice of unknow manga to be adapted always successful. And that’s the case here yet again. Very nice iyashi-kei slice-of-life comedy show. And they had the good idea of choosing Erino Hazuki as the female lead (in the adult side that is), which makes the iyashi-kei feeling of the show even higher (second part of episode 3, with Yamamoto-sensei as the narrator, really sounded like an episode of Aria XD ). So this one is a very very close second. If it could turn into a harem anime, that would definitely make it my first fav though. XD I mean, look at all these cute teachers ! They’re all so hawt, particularly the meganekko Kawashiro-sensei that I fell in love with as soon as I heard her speak (seiyuu is Naomi Wakabayashi, Ritsuko in The iDOLM@STER). <3 <3 <3

On a side note, best OP and EDs of the season.

NEED MOAR KAWASHIRO-SENSEI

#3 ↑↑ Chu-Bra!! (5)

ANN

Blatent fanservice here, I wouldn’t suggest this one to anybody especially if you’re not ok when seeing middleschoolers in their underwears most of the time (and naked the rest of the time lol). Though, this show is definitely much deeper than at first look, surprisingly enough. It sure changes the way you see pantsu. I mean, never before, discussions about pantsu have been so moving. XD Another point I find interesting, is that it makes you ask yourself : “Does liking to wear sexy underwears necessarily make a girl a slut ?” “Can’t girls wear cute pantsu for their own pleasure and not for guys ?”. It really ends up being a nice and funny show about tolerance and makes change your way of thinking on a few things. This episode was particularly good, with nice humor and light drama… and even yuri XD

#4 ↑↑ Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (5)

ANN

The first couple of episodes was boring like hell, but it’s progressively becoming better, mostly thanks to the fact that they put all the ‘Tactical-RPGish’ fights aside, which are stupid IMO. That, and the fact that episodes 3 and 4 focused a lot on Kaori Mizuhashi’s character. Episode 5 was clearly the best so far. It was really crazy, and the Akihisa-Yuuji-Hideyoshi trio was funny and it made a good combi, it’s one of the rare times during which I enjoyed following the adventures of male characters. Less fights, less gay megane-kun and less pervert with the camera I don’t even feel like remembering his name, and this show would be really better. Ah, and moar Kaori Mizuhashi and Hideyoshi (Emiri Katou) of course.

#5 ↑↑ Kaidan Restaurant (10)

ANN

Though this is supposed to be a scary show for kids, Kaidan Restaurant usually ends up being a rather moving show. That was the case here yet again, with three really nice stories. For a change, Reiko-chan got a nice amount of appearance this time. XD

#6 ↓↓ Ladies vs Butlers! (5)

ANN

Typical but very enjoyable highly servicey school-comedy. Mostly thanks to its good characters. Hino is far from being your habitual jerk and is rather a nice guy, Tomomi’s evil side is delightful, and Flameheart-san’s tsundere side is cute. It really makes the whole thing enjoyable and I quite like this show, it got 6th place only because the latest episodes of the other shows were greater this time. But next episode is about the reverse trap (seiyuu : Rie Kugimiya), can’t wait for it. XD On a side note : does she really need bandages for hiding her DFC ? lol~

#7 ↓↓ Kimi ni Todoke (17)

ANN

It’s always a great pleasure to follow the evolution of the uber cute Sawako-chan, but… The ‘Kurumizawa arc’ ended two episodes ago, and I sure grew a lot of love for her recently. New arc started, and just as I feared Kurumizawa suddenly became nowhere to be seen. :/

On a side note : Ryu is lulz~

#8 Dance in the Vampire Bund (5)

ANN

Rather interesting show, when putting aside how Shizuka Itou’s character died in a fucked-up way in episode 3. What I like the most about it is of course the delicious Mina Tepes, and her relation with the main guy that I find touching. But overally I think that the animation and all the ‘special effects’ they’re using most of the time are ridiculous and exhausting to watch, making some dramatic moments rather laughable. Maa, it seems that SHAFT is liked by ‘elitist’ otacunts for that reason though… >_>

#9 Omamori Himari (5)

ANN

Uber typical servicey show without a bit of originality, but ain’t it the reason why we’re watching it ? Himari is cute and HAWT, and this is enough of a reason for watching the show, not mentionning delicious loli Shizuku, everybody can find what they like. But this show has a huge flaw that makes it the one I like the least in this season : the main guy sucks so much that it hurts, his reactions are always terribly ridiculous, and his voice is SO FUKKIN ANNOYING that it makes some part of the show very painful to watch. And what a coincidence, his seiyuu, Daisuke Hirakawa, is also the seiyuu of Makoto from School Days, aka the worst male lead ever created in anime history ! :o JUST STOP GIVING JOB TO THIS GUY ALREADY, FOR ANIME’S SAKE !

# Out of rank, because the subs are far behind : Anyamal Tantei Kiruminzoo.

ANN

Kid show which is surprisingly enough rather entertaining. The show is overally pretty funny, and some parts really get great animation and art, like that random scene in episode 5 when they’re playing in the high grass, that was really cool and soothing. Another good point is that the voice cast gets Sakura Tange (Sakura in Card Captor Sakura), which is a rare thing. The latest released episode, episode 6, was particularly crazy and the funniest episode so far~. But latest aired episode is episode 17, hence the fact that I didn’t put it in the ranking.

As for Hidamari Sketch x☆☆☆, I’m not watching it cause I’m actually catching up by watching the second season. Same goes for To aru Kagaku no Railgun, I’m watching Index now. Yeah, I know that these shows are actually not related, but it’s just that I felt like doing things in order. As for the other shows… it’s just that I’m not watching them.

See ya next week… maybe.
